A large group of supporters at the European Darts Open in Leverkusen interrupted their enjoyment of finals’ night to celebrate something else more more – news of Scotland’s Euro 2024 exit.

The uncharitable fans showed they weren’t backing the whole of Britain in Europe.
Many waved beers or even tops above their heads as the Scots saw both Group A results go against them – when they needed both in their favour.
The first leg of their double strop came as Germany nicked a late equaliser but not the victory required against Switzerland.
The Scots’ latest unwanted check-out was then confirmed soon after.
Kevin Csoboth slotted home a Hungary winner 10 minutes into stoppage time added for a worrying injury to Barnabas Varga.
Many England fans at the darts tournament in Germany responded with whoops of delight.
A chorus of “Scotand’s going home and England’s on the p***” rang round the venue.
And reaction online from revellers apparently in Leverkusen included: “Absolutely superb night!”
