Two people were found shot Wednesday night in Washington Heights, one fatally, according to Chicago police.
Officers responded to a call of shots fired at a residence in the 9900 block of South Parnell Avenue at 1:57 p.m. and found a 59-year-old woman who had been shot multiple times; she was declared dead at the scene, police said.
A 55-year-old man was also found shot once in the head, police said. He was taken to Christ Medical Center in serious condition.
Police are investigating.
