Boy George reveals ‘panic’ while at scene of Golders Green terror attack

Boy George has detailed breaking down in tears after being caught up in the terror attack in Golders Green yesterday.
Just after 11am on Wednesday two men were attacked and stabbed in the North London suburb.
The two victims – who are said to be in stable condition in hospital – were later named as Shloime Rand, 34, and Moshe Shine, 76.
A 45-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder after being shot with a stun gun.
The government’s adviser on terrorism, Jonathan Hall, has said this incident and other recent attacks on Jewish people are the ‘the biggest national security emergency’ in almost a decade.
Meanwhile Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood has also since committed £25million for security around synagogues, schools and community centres.

A day on from the shocking act of violence, Boy George has now revealed he was in the area as the emergency was unfolding.
Posting a video to X which showed police tape blocking access to a street, with several police cars and ambulances nearby, he wrote: ‘I was in Golders Green yesterday.
‘I arrived just as the police presence was building. My heart goes out to the two Jewish victims and to their loved ones.’
The musician then went on to declare that ‘we need to make our Jewish community know we support them’
‘Even before I knew what had happened, I was in tears because you could feel panic in the air. These are just regular people getting with their lives.
