Heartbroken family pays tribute to ‘kindest soul’ Teddy Hickman, five, after horror motorbike crash

A FIVE-year-old boy who died in a horror road accident has been named as Teddy Hickman.

He was in the rear seat of a Ford Focus when it collided with a motorcycle in Oxfordshire on Sunday.

He died at the scene on the B4011 in Blackthorn, near Bicester, shortly after 2pm.

The KTM biker, in his 40s, was taken to hospital with serious injures.

The car driver, a woman in her 30s, and a child, nine, suffered minor injuries.

In a heartbreaking statement, Teddy’s family said he was “the kindest soul”.

They added: “He was the most beautiful little boy inside and out with the cheekiest smile.

“He was funny, loved to play tricks and so very clever.

“Teddy had the kindest soul, the most caring little boy who we will forever be proud of, the greatest privilege of our lives.

“He was loved by so many and brought immense joy to all our lives from the day he was born.

“We would ask for time and privacy to grieve the immeasurable loss of our little boy.”

Thames Valley Police have appealed for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
