Shocking CCTV footage showed the president of the Balearic Islands Hells Angels and his deputy engaging in a heated altercation with the owner of the place before swinging a punch in his face.

According to the victim, the pair of thugs tried to extort £8500 from him before beating him up.

He claimed the biker boss said: “Either you pay me €10,000 or you will end up badly.

Seconds later, the unrelenting gang leader began pummelling the restaurant owner with a series of kicks and punches.

When the owner tried to fight back, the leader of the Hells Angel and his pal together thrashed him, leaving him with a broken jaw.

The victim said: “We are very afraid . We live in fear and my wife has already suggested selling the place and leaving here.

“The damage, apart from physical injuries, is very great.”

The biker chief can also be seen pulling out a knife from his bag with which he reportedly threatened everyone present at the scene, including horrified holidaymakers.

Cops quickly arrested the violent pair on charges of assault and extortion, but they were released after a few days.

And since then, the members of the biker group have been seen “roaming freely” around the city, sparking fear and chaos among tourists who were left horrified by the violent episode.

Klaus Joseph, a German tourist who has spent half his life taking holidays on Majorca, told Ultima Hora that it’s “unforgivable to live” with the bikers.

He said: “I haven’t had any episodes with them, but I know what happened with some friends who have had a bad time with them.”

It cannot be tolerated that an area like Playa de Palma and s’Arenal becomes a crime neighbourhood.”

Another regular tourist Joseph L said he fears the violent biker gang wants to “rule the area”.

The shocking incident has amplified the fears of local restaurants and small business owners who have now voiced their concerns about the violent thugs.

One such person said: “They come to a bar, consume and don’t pay. If you tell them something they threaten you, it is unbearable”

Another said: ‘When they pass by we try to go unnoticed, but the climate of tension is palpable.”

Both the notorious gang members involved in the violent incident have been ordered a restraining order against approaching thr restaurant or its owner.

They are also barred from contacting the eatery or any of its staff.
