Coachella 2026: Karol G announces upcoming tour to close out Weekend 2

Closing out the final night of Weekend 2, and with it the 2026 edition of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, Karol G used the last moments of her set to announce her next tour, sending the crowd into a frenzy as giant screens lit up with the words “Nos Vamos de Tour.”

The message — translated to “We’re going on tour” — flashed behind her during the hit track “Provenza,” as Karol G echoed it into the microphone, turning the performance’s final stretch into both a celebration and a message for what’s to come.

The announcement capped off a headlining set that leaned heavily into community, collaboration and legacy, themes that carried through a lineup of special guests who joined the 35-year-old Colombian star throughout the Sunday night set.

Among the most notable appearances were fellow Colombian artists J Balvin and Ryan Castro, who took the stage together for a high-energy segment that paid tribute to Medellín’s reggaetón roots. Balvin ran through hits including “Ay Vamos,” “Ginza” and “La Canción” before Castro joined in for a medley that blended their collaborations, a moment that also arrives just ahead of their upcoming joint album release.

Earlier in the night, Karol G also welcomed Peso Pluma for “Qlona” and Becky G for “Mamii,” continuing the cross-genre collaborations that have defined her.

The performance served as both a victory lap and a rich cultural milestone. As the first Latina to headline Coachella, Karol G’s closing set carried added weight, one that she met by centering Latin music, artists and audiences on one of the festival’s biggest stages.
