Police are looking for the driver of a red pickup truck that fatally hit a 65-year-old woman walking in a crosswalk and fled the scene, Sunday night in Belmont Cragin.
The woman, 65, was in the crosswalk in the 3100 block of North Central Avenue around 9:30 p.m. when a red pickup truck going south struck the woman and continued south, Chicago police said.
The woman, whose name was not released, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Major Accident detectives were investigating.
