One person was wounded during an early Thursday morning shooting on the Bishop Ford Freeway near 111th Street in the Morgan Park neighborhood.
Around 4:35 a.m., state troopers responded to the outbound lanes of the Bishop Ford near 111th Street for the shooting, Illinois state police said.
One person took themselves to the hospital with reported injuries, state police said.
Multiple lanes were shut down for investigation, officials said. Lanes were reopened just before 6:30 a.m.
