"Unbreakable" (2000).

Director M. Night Shyamalan’s “Unbreakable” is one of the most intriguing and suspenseful movies of the early 2000s.

Per IMDb, the brilliant superhero thriller’s plot is as follows: “A man learns something extraordinary about himself after a devastating accident.”

Specifically, it tells the story of David Dunn, who survives a devastating train crash with no injuries, leading to the realization that he possesses superhuman abilities. Following the discovery, he comes to the attention of Elijah Price, a disabled comic book store owner with a terrifying motive.

It stars Bruce Willis as Dunn and Samuel L. Jackson as Price, with Robin Wright, Spencer Treat Clark, and Charlayne Woodard providing able support in important roles.

The film was both a critical and commercial success. It boasts a 71% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes and grossed almost $250 million worldwide, after costing just $75 million to make (per Box Office Mojo).

It released in the United States on November 22, 2000, meaning it recently turned 25 years old. With that in mind, wouldn’t it be cool to see the cast now, compared to how they looked when it hit theaters? Let’s do that immediately…
