A man was shot and killed in the Austin neighborhood Monday night, police said.
The man, 28, was on the street in the 4900 block of West Ferdinand Street around 8 p.m. when someone fired shots, striking him in the neck, according to Chicago police.
He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
No one is in custody and detectives are investigating.
