Comic Con Revolution 2026: Star-studded panels, cosplayers, and artists return to Ontario
Comic Con Revolution returned with superhero and pop culture enthusiasts who took over the Ontario Convention Center on Saturday, May 16.
The panels on the first day of the event featured kid-friendly topics such as voice acting for children, cosplaying and a social media safety course. There was also the return of the kids’ costume parade, where children showcased their best outfits while cosplaying as their favorite characters.
Other panels covered a variety of topics, including how to get into the comic book business, while others focused on beloved outer space franchises such as “Star Wars,” “Star Trek,” and “Battlestar Galactica.” Saturday’s programming also featured a panel that pitted Marvel vs. DC fans against each other for one of the longest-running comic book debates.

The event was hosted by Christian Bladt and featured Dan Jurgens (Superman, “The Death of Superman”) repping DC and Chris Claremont (X-Men, “Dark Phoenix Saga”) for Marvel. Fans listened to the two creators talk about creative decisions, industry shifts and storytelling philosophies behind some of the most influential comics of the ’80s and ’90s.
Perhaps the biggest Saturday panel was “Into the Speed Force: Celebrating The Flash,” which featured a special cast reunion of the hit CW series “The Flash,” who answered some questions from the audience.
Those looking for a Southern California blast from the past were also treated to a cast reunion of the stars from “Beverly Hills, 90210,” which included Gabrielle Carteris, Jennie Garth, Brian Austin Green, and Ian Ziering. The panel invited the cast to share behind-the-scenes memories, favorite moments, and stories from the set before opening the floor to fan questions.
Sunday will feature heavy “X-Men” programming, including a separate ticketed event dubbed “X-Men: The Animated Legacy – Behind the Scenes with the Creators,” which features three of the creative forces behind the original “X-Men: The Animated Series.” Showrunner Eric Lewald, writer Julia Lewald, and director and producer Larry Houston will take fans behind the scenes of the series to discuss what it took to continue it as “X-Men ’97” nearly 30 years later, the comic storylines that shaped characters, animation style, and moments from both series that still resonate.
Other panels include another “X-Men” event, “The Mutant Massacre,” 40 years later, a panel featuring the voices of “Rick & Morty” and a cast reunion for the CW show “Arrow.”
