Josh Duhamel‘s third child has arrived! The “Life As We Know It” actor took to Instagram to share the happy news on Saturday, May 15.
The baby, a girl named Rocca de Leon, is Duhamel’s first daughter. He shares a 12-year-old son named Axl with his ex-wife, Fergie, and a 2-year-old son, Shepherd, with his current wife, Audra Mari.
On April 30, Page Six erroneously reported that the baby had already arrived, but this time it’s the real deal, confirmed by Duhamel himself. The 53-year-old wrote in the caption of the photo set, “Rocca de Leon Duhamel
our baby girl is here ð¤ð︔
The first snap showed a collection of Polaroids featuring moments from the happy day, while the second showed little Shepherd wondrously staring down at his new sister. Other photos showed the little cherub being cradled in her each of her parents’ arms.
Duhamel married Audra, 32, in 2022, 5 years after his split from Fergie.
Fans gushed over the adorable pics, with one writing, “a precious baby girl and two big brothers𥰠Congrats she is beautiful!”
Another person chimed in, “Happy for you, Josh! Congratulations to your beautiful blessed family!”
Congrats messages are also coming in from Duhamel’s fellow actors. “90210” actor Matt Lanter wrote, “congrats guys” after leaving a heart emoji.
Josh Duhamel’s Wife Penned a Joyful Mother’s Day Post a Few Days Before Welcoming New Baby
On Sunday, May 10, Audra shared an Instagram Carousel of photos for Mother’s Day and shared a message celebrating her first son.
She wrote, “I was one version of myself before you, Shepherd, and someone entirely different after you.. You made my world softer, slower, and so much more beautiful.. Iâll love you forever my boy ðð¤
Happy Motherâs Day to all you warriors out there.. cheers to us â¨ð¥”
The pics showed the mom and tot posing for photo shoots, visiting a pumpkin patch, riding on a plane, and more.
Duhamel replied to the post by commenting, “You are THE BEST. Love you so so much babe.”
Earlier in the spring, the family celebrated Easter with both of Duhamel’s sons.
Fergie Seems to Share a Friendly Relationship With Duhamel & His Wife
Fergie has exchanged several friendly public interactions with Duhamel since the ex couple’s split. The “Glamorous” singer and “Safe Haven” actor ended things in 2017, and finalized their divorce in 2019.
On Audra’s Instagram photo announcing her second pregnancy with Duhamel, Fergie commented, “Welcome the cuteness! ðð”
Likewise, Duhamel has said kind words that seem to indicate the exes are on good terms.
On March 2, 2026, her mentioned Fergie on the âSkinny Confidentialâ podcast. He implied their split came down to having âdifferent views of the worldâ and said of their differences, âAnd thatâs okay.â
Duhamel went on to say he has âno regretsâ about their relationship, and also praised Fergieâs parenting, calling her âa great mom.â He added that Fergie is âkindâ and ânon-confrontational,â and shared that the singer has a âgreat relationshipâ with his current wife.
