Paris Fury has revealed the reason Tommy Fury was absent from niece Venezuela’s wedding this weekend.
All eyes were once again on the Fury clan as 16-year-old Venezuela married fiancé Noah Price, 19, in a lavish ceremony at the Victorian Royal Chapel of St John’s, in the Isle of Man.
Among the 120 attendees to arrive on the island – where the family live, and marriage is legal at 16 – was heavily pregnant Molly-Mae Hague.
The former Love Island star, 26, flew in via private jet with three-year-old daughter Bambi, who acted as bridesmaid for the event.
However, nowhere to be seen was Molly-Mae’s partner – and the father of her unborn child – Tommy, 27.
With the wedding now behind us, proud mum Paris has revealed the reason brother-in-law Tommy was absent on Venezuela’s big day.
Paris sang Molly-Mae’s praises to The Sun, describing her as ‘incredible.’
‘She is being fully supportive, and she is bringing Bambi over, so that Bambi could be a bridesmaid with the kids,’ said Paris.
She added: ‘But I have got to throw her props. She is making that journey while heavily pregnant and I wouldn’t have been able to face that while I was at her term of pregnancy.’
As for Tommy, Paris revealed that he had to stay in Manchester for his boxing training camp.
Molly-Mae met Tommy on season five of the reality competition Love Island in 2019, finishing the show as runners-up.
In 2023, they welcomed daughter Bambi. After a temporary split, they rekindled their romanced and announced this year that they are expecting their second child together.
‘It’s lovely that they are making the effort,’ said Paris of Molly-Mae and Bambi’s trip to the wedding.
She added: ‘It’s lovely that Bambi and the other little girls all get to be bridesmaids. They are all cousins and it’s sweet that they‘ll make memories together.’
Bambi was one of 13 child bridesmaids, including Venezuela’s sisters Valencia, eight, and Athena, all dressed in ‘powder blue cupcake dresses.’
Five grown-up bridesmaids also stood at Venezuela’s side as she married Noah, dressed in fitted gowns.
Venezuela revealed: ‘I chose powder blue cupcake dresses for the little ones, they’re really cute, and fitted gowns for my friends.’
Meanwhile, the blushing bride wore an enormous fishtail gown complete with sweeping 50-foot train… hiding a pair of white Crocs underneath.
To mark the occasion, emotional dad and family patriarch Tyson Fury gave a moving speech honouring the happy couple on their big day.
He told The Sun on Sunday: ‘Our firstborn, our daughter Venezuela, getting married will be a very happy, emotional day.
‘I’m a big softie but if your children are happy that is the best thing, which they are.
‘Marriage is for life, so we wish them all the happiness in the world.’
Speaking after walking Venezuela down the aisle to a rap song, he said: ‘It was beautiful. She’s no longer a Fury. Time goes quick. We don’t realise it but it does. She’s a married woman now.’
Cameras were on standby throughout the day on behalf of the family’s At Home With the Furys Netflix show.
Following the ceremony, the party moved to the ballroom, which had been piled high with hydrangeas and roses.
After a three-course meal, the family and their guests enjoyed picking on sandwiches, curry, chips and a midnight snack of bacon sandwiches.
As they ate, the happy couple took pride of place in a pair of thrones, recalling David and Victoria Beckham’s 1990 wedding.
Paris said that a seating plan hadn’t been organised, as ‘we will all know each other,’ adding: ‘We all come from big families so we’ve got lots of little ones. I think it’s lovely that she is marrying within the traveller community.
‘We have the same important traditions and cultural values and it can be very difficult if you mix cultures.’
