Hollywood star horrified at woman ‘eating his face for 80 days’

Glen Powell has described the moment he met a woman who ate photos of his face for 80 days straight.

The Anyone But You and Twisters star is certainly no stranger to being adored by his fans.

However, nobody in their wildest dreams could have possibly predicted how one super fan would show her adoration for the 37-year-old American actor.

Speaking during The Hollywood Reporter Comedy Actor Roundtable, Chad Powers star Glen told a story about a woman who has a unique TikTok presence.

After being asked to share their weirdest fan reaction, Glen told Harrison Ford, Owen Wilson, Zach Braff, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Riz Ahmed: ‘There’s a woman in London who has been printing out pictures of my face for the last 80 days and has eaten my face every day.

‘Literally will eat my face until I give her a role in a movie.’

The woman in question who eats his face uses the handle @mynameismonique.

Though she is still yet to get a part in one of his movies, Monique finally stopped eating Glen after day 140 when she attended the Running Man premiere in November 2025 and ate a printout of his face in front of him.

In the video from the event, Glen can be seen smiling along and saying ‘now it’s a premiere!’ as she takes a bite of the picture.

But, describing how he really felt to his other actors at The Hollywood Reporter Roundtable, Glen added: ‘I didn’t know this was a thing until it was described to me while I was on the red carpet.

‘They’re like, “Hey, the girl that eats your face is on the red carpet.” I go, “What are you talking about?”‘

Scrubs star Zach was particularly horrified by the story, as he asked: ‘How did she get red carpet access.’

Agreeing with him, Glen said: ‘That’s what I was like… come on, this is a real liability.’

Elsewhere on the roundtable, Star Wars actor Harrison revealed the wildest thing a fan has come up to him and said.

Speaking to the group, he said how somebody loudly announced in an airport: ‘My mother wants to sleep with you.’

Meanwhile, adding to the stories, Riz – who recently starred in Amazon Prime’s Bait – said: ‘Once, somebody asked me to sign something, and I signed it and then they chased me down the street and started yelling at me: “That’s not your signature!”’
