Jude Bellingham is one of the most famous footballers in the world.
At just 23 years old, he’s played for Birmingham City and Borussia Dortmund before he was signed by Real Madrid in 2023 for a whopping £88.5 million.
Now, the midfielder is stateside, representing England in his second World Cup.
On Wednesday night, when England beat DR Congo in the knockout stages — thanks to two late goals from captain Harry Kane — Bellingham was one of the few other players to emerge with any credit.
So, as the England squad prepare to take on Mexico on their home ground on Monday morning, let’s take a look at Bellingham’s life away from the pitch, from his wholesome relationship with his family to his American model girlfriend.
£7 million home in quiet Worcestershire village
While England’s number 10 currently resides in the Spanish capital Madrid (more on that later), he hasn’t forgotten his roots.
The footballer hails from the West Midlands, and is clearly putting his mark on the area.
In June this year, Birmingham and Solihull-based estate agents, Partridge Homes, blogged about the sprawling two-acre estate Bellingham is building in Barnt Green, a small village in Worcestershire.
With a price tag of around £7 million, the home is reported to include a private trophy room, home gym, cinema room, a spa with a sauna, and an indoor swimming pool.
In true celeb style, there will also be a private barbershop, so Bellingham and his nearest and dearest can get their hair cut in private, without having to go to a local salon.
It was also reported that landscaped gardens wrap around the entire estate for extra privacy.
Bellingham isn’t the only footballer to purchase property in this unassuming village, though.
Much like Cheshire’s Alderley Edge in the 2000s, which housed Premier League names like David Beckham and Cristiano Ronaldo, Barnt Green has developed an elite footballing reputation.
Manchester City and England star Jack Grealish grew up in Barnt Green and has long-standing ties to the community.
Ollie Watkins, Aston Villa and England striker, has also invested in the village, as has former Aston Villa boss Ron Atkinson.
In 2024, it was also reported Bellingham had purchased a £2.5 million home in Solihull for his parents.
Who is Jude Bellingham’s model girlfriend?
Bellingham is currently dating US influencer, model and content creator, Ashlyn Castro.
The 28-year-old was born in California, and since the World Cup kicked off she’s been spotted supporting her beau at the matches.
She was even seen in the crowd wearing an England shirt during last week’s game against Panama.
They were also photographed together after the Croatia game in Dallas on June 17.
The influencer boasts 705K followers on Instagram, where her grid consists of selfies, brand partnerships, and luxury holidays.
Bellingham and Castro first sparked dating rumours in early 2024, when the pair were seen interacting on Instagram.
In early 2025, she was then spotted with the footballer’s parents at a Real Madrid game.
As with many famous couplings these days, it’s thought they connected on celebrity dating app Raya in late 2024.
Bellingham lived with his mum, Denise, in Madrid
OK, so there’s not been much news on this since 2024, the year after Bellingham signed to Real Madrid.
But back then it was revealed that the midfielder was living with his mum, Denise, in a luxury Madrid apartment.
Just 20 at the time, it was reported that Denise relocated to the Spanish capital to help her son with his schedule.
HELLO! revealed the pair were residing in a lavish villa in Madrid’s La Finca, considered the most exclusive residential estate in the city.
The outlet reported that the star-studded neighbourhood was also home to none other than Cristiano Ronaldo.
Just before he joined Madrid, Bellingham credited his mother for helping him achieve his goals.
‘The role my mum is playing is massive. It is probably the biggest role of anyone, more than my coaches and managers, to be honest,’ he said.
‘Without my mum, sometimes I’d get too low with the lows or too high with the highs and I stay pretty humble because I’ve got her around. It’s also great to have her there because she’s a great laugh as well. We get on so well and we’re always doing stuff together.’
Before living together in Madrid, Denise accompanied her son to Germany when he went to play for Dortmund in 2020.
Jude Bellingham’s parents split after 20 years of marriage
Last year, it was widely speculated that Bellingham’s parents, Denise and Mark, had split after 20 years together.
The dedicated parents — who also support their younger son, 20-year-old footballer Jobe — were photographed sitting apart while watching him play for Borussia Dortmund in October 2025.
The Bellingham parents lived largely apart in recent years while supporting their children’s respective careers in Spain and Germany.
