Influencer Nara Smith has been flooded with support from fans and celebrity pals after revealing two-year-old daughter Whimsy Lou has been diagnosed with cancer.

The content creator, who has nearly five million followers on Instagram and 12.5 million on TikTok, shared the news in a post, explaining how she and husband Lucky Blue Smith learned about their daughter’s illness ‘late last year’.

The mother-of-four, 24, explained that they saw ‘something suspicious on her’, so took her to hospital immediately and from there they were advised to ‘start chemo treatments immediately’.

‘When we took her into our paediatrician, I just remember him going really quiet and calm… My heart dropped in that moment. I don’t know whether it was my gut telling me something or just a mum’s intuition, but the first thing that I felt was she has cancer.’

‘After a lot of X-rays, ultrasounds and finally a biopsy, they immediately called us and said that she had cancer, told us it had spread and that she needs to come and start chemo treatments immediately,’ Nara continued.

They quickly took Whimsy, their second-eldest child, to the nearest children’s hospital from there.

In her video announcing Whimsy’s diagnosis, Nara shared how it helped her to speak with other families going through a similar thing.

‘All of that combined really brought me a lot of comfort and alleviated the feeling of loneliness for me,’ she added.

‘Processing this and navigating all of this as a family has been really hard.

‘A lot of you have probably realized that I’ve been posting a little less and this is the reason why.

She did not, however, reveal what type of cancer has toddler was diagnosed with, nor what her current condition is.

Nara and model Lucky, 28, are also parents to daughter Rumble Honey, five, son Slim Easy, four, and baby daughter Fawnie Golden, who is nearly a year old.

Lucky also has daughter Gravity from his previous relationship with model Stormi Bree.
