How yellow card rules work in the knockouts
Yellow cards were wiped after the end of the quarter-final stage.
This means that no England player will miss the World Cup final should they get booked this evening and the team wins.
Only a red card in tonight’s game will rule a player out of featuring in the final – undoubtedly the biggest match of any player’s career.

Four England stars headed into the Norway clash with the threat of being suspended for the semi-finals, given the yellow card amnesty had not come into effect at that point.
Jude Bellingham was booked in the win over DR Congo but managed to avoid a repeat offence against Mexico and Norway.
Declan Rice, meanwhile, was booked after barely a minute had been played against Mexico in the Round of 16, with Marc Guehi and Nico O’Reilly joining him in the referee’s notebook in the second half.
All four, however, now have peace of mind that a booking tonight will not rule them out of Sunday’s showpiece.
Jarrel Quansah, who was sent off against Mexico, is the only England player who is suspended for the Argentina game.
