SummerSlam is almost here with a stacked doubleheader celebrating the best of WWE.
The biggest party of the summer takes over Minneapolis, Minnesota this weekend with championship clashes, high-stakes bouts and grudge matches aplenty.
Superstars like Roman Reigns, CM Punk and Liv Morgan are in action, while we’re guaranteed a new champion after Rhea Ripley was forced to vacate the WWE Women’s Title.
The build hasn’t always been smooth sailing, with plenty of matches added within the last couple of weeks, but it’s hard to argue with the card on paper.
Each night has some potential show stealers, and hometown heroes Brock Lesnar and Chad Gable could be at the centre of some truly significant moments.
Here’s everything you need to know.

Will Brock Lesnar retire at SummerSlam?
All signs point to Brock Lesnar actually calling it quits at SummerSlam this weekend.
When I was in Las Vegas for WrestleMania 42 back in April, I genuinely bought into the idea that the Beast Incarnate was hanging up his boots after losing to Oba Femi.
Despite getting dominated by The Ruler in Allegiant Stadium, Brock would make his return, and they’re now tied 1-1 heading into a rubber match inside Hell In A Cell.
The stipulation alone promises a spectacle we’ve not seen in quite some time from Brock, while Oba will be stepping into the structure for the first time.
Throw in the fact that it’s in Minnesota, and the stage is set for the former world champ’s swan song.
After such an emotional display from Brock and Paul Heyman at WrestleMania, it’s clear he’s winding down, and there’s no better place for him to say goodbye.
Who is new WWE wrestler Nick Aldis?
WWE fans should be keeping a close eye on Nick Aldis this weekend.
To the uninitiated, he’s simply SmackDown general manager. To the rest of us, he’s the National Treasure.
Born in Norfolk, Aldis made his name as Magnus in IMPACT/TNA, becoming the first British world champ in wrestling history.
He went on to help relaunch the National Wrestling Alliance with Billy Corgan, becoming NWA Worlds Champion, travelling the world defending the prestigious title.
When he joined WWE, fans were hoping to see him against the likes of GUNTHER, Drew McIntyre and Sheamus, but he was kept as a backstage producer, and eventually on-air as GM.
There were hints over the last few years, including a simmering feud with Randy Orton, but nothing materialised.
Finally, we’re getting there with GUNTHER, and Aldis has a perfect opponent and stage to make his mark, swap the suits for his boots and trunks, and show the world what he’s capable of.
