James Beard Award-winning celebrity chef Tim Hollingsworth will be the man behind the kitchen at a new upscale restaurant named Alphabet Bar & Grill.
Set to open on Aug. 15 at Caruso’s Palisades Village in the Pacific Palisades, the new restaurant is under the umbrella of the h.wood Group, which is behind other Los Angeles restaurants like Delilah in West Hollywood and Italian spot The Nice Guy on La Cienega.
Hollingsworth’s menu pays homage to the American neighborhood grill with California produce and the local farmers market at Palisades Village. While more information is forthcoming, diners can expect dishes like rotisserie chicken, seasonal seasonal and “nostalgic desserts,” according to a release. The new restaurant will also include crafted cocktails and a wine menu.
“For me, cooking has always been about how we take care of the people we love. With Alphabet, I wanted to bring that personal philosophy to the Palisades, blending thoughtfully sourced ingredients with comforting, classic dishes that become weekly staples,” Hollingworth said in a statement.
The restaurant design meanwhile will feature green marble countertops, gold brass accents, ambient lighting and linen-topped tables with textured seating.
“The goal was to create the kind of place people return to again and again — one that embodies the values, cultures and traditions that have long shaped what it means to gather around the table,” Hollingworth continued in the statement.
The chef is a veteran of the famed The French Laundry, where he earned the James Beard Award for Rising Star Chef. He’s also a TV personality, appearing in shows like Netflix’s “The Final Table,” “The Great American Recipe” on PBS and the Food Network’s “Beat Bobby Flay.”
Alphabet Bar & Grill will be located at Palisades Village, 15225 Palisades Village Lane, Pacific Palisades. For more information go to palisadesvillageca.com
