Katie Price asks newly-single reality star if she’s his type after taking off wedding ring

Katie Price got on stage over the weekend to tell a gathered crowd – and prove it in the moment – that she’s a woman who says what’s on her mind.

The former glamour model attended The Hair and Beauty Awards to present an award at The AO Arena in Manchester on Saturday.

Just days after she was photographed having taken off her wedding ring with husband Lee Andrews, the 48-year-old was videoed flirting with Jake Quickenden in front of the crowd. 

The I’m A Celebrity star was on the stage with her, as Price recounted a recent This Morning appearance in which she said Ben Shephard had some dating advice for her.

‘Do you know what he said to me? Do you want to know what he said to me?’ Price asked, referring to when she chatted to Shephard on the couch.

‘He said to me, do you know what? All the men you’ve been with, do you know who you would suit, who I’d fit with? And it was actually you,’ Price said, gesturing back to Quickenden behind her with a bouquet of flowers.

A clearly shocked Quickenden exclaimed: ‘Me? No he didn’t.’ Price then replied: ‘Are you blowing me out? Is that a yes or a no? I’m putting you on the spot.’

Quickened laughed as he agreed she was, to which Price pressed: ‘Am I your type or not?’

He replied: ‘You’re a beautiful lady, Katie, get along with the awards!’ before laughing: ‘Cheers Ben Shephard.’

Price then proceeded to read out the award she was presenting with Quickenden, who split from his wife Sophie Church in May.

The couple, who married in 2022 and have two children together, formally separated after a series of ‘long conversations’ about having drifted apart.

Meanwhile, Price is in the midst of her own rocky relationship with husband Andrews, who vanished earlier this year and was then revealed to have been jailed in Dubai.

Price wed the Dubai-based businessman in January, just days after the pair met. But an extraordinary few months have followed, including allegations of scams and a travel ban preventing him from leaving the UAE. Andrews’ precise whereabouts are currently unclear. 

In the last few days, Price was pictured soaking up the sunshine in Ibiza in a tiny bright yellow bikini with her son Harvey, with her ‘Owned by Lee’ visible among her extensive collection of tattoos – despite her wedding ring again conspicuously absent from her finger.
