Katie Price’s husband, Lee Andrews, may still be missing, but that hasn’t stopped the reality star from enjoying herself as she cosies up to Wayne Lineker.
Since returning to jail on July 9, the Dubai-based ‘businessman’ who has been accused of being a scammer and a conman has been nowhere to be seen, despite rumours he had left prison at the end of last month.
The former glamour model, who stirred concern from family, friends and fans after a whirlwind marriage in January, has been tight-lipped about her hubby’s fate since his recent disappearance.
Aside from taking her wedding ring off, and then back on again, there’s been very little to hint at his whereabouts or whether marriage is still going strong in the face of such immense scrutiny.
Now, however, the mum-of-five is having her own fun on holiday in Ibiza with friend Lou Roy and actor-turned-businessman Wayne, who owns a chain of day clubs, including one in Ibiza.
The trio have posted various suggestive snaps and videos from the sunny destination. In one photo, all three were posing together with Katie wearing a skimpy bikini and thin shawl as Gary Lineker’s brother snaked his arm around her waist.
In another video over on Wayne’s Instagram, the two recreated the iconic beach scene from White Chicks.
Wayne is lying on a sunlounger as he lip-syncs: ‘Ah, what a beautiful sunny day.’
A shadow then crosses over him – the gag being that we’re meant to think it’s the eclipse that took place last night – as he says: ‘Wait, what happened to the sun?’ while sultry music plays.
The camera then pans to reveal Katie in a bikini with her large breasts as the true reason behind the sudden shade. She finishes the cinematic reference by miming the sentence: ‘Easy, white chocolate, I wouldn’t want you to melt.’
The tongue-in-cheek caption simply reads: ‘Triple eclipse’
Although neither has said anything about a romance, it’s unknown how the impromptu trip has gone down with her beau.
Also in attendance on the getaway was her son, Harvey, 24, who was partying alongside Wayne and his mum behind the DJ deck, at one point dubbing the young man a ‘national treasure’.
Katie later wrote: ‘Wayne, thank you for making us feel so welcome in your home.’
Wayne even shared a ‘special message’ for Katie on his Instagram: ‘We’ve certainly had our moments over the years, you more than anyone knows that.
‘We’ve faced obstacles, made mistakes and sometimes been our own worst enemies. But through it all, there’s one thing I believe we’ve always shared: our two hearts and our genuine love of helping other people,’ he wrote amid a longer message.
As for where Katie’s mindset is at with Lee, sources recently shared that she is ‘all over the place’ with all the uncertainty even driving her to contemplate an 18th breast augmentation.
The insider said: ‘When Katie’s stressed and doesn’t know what to do with a guy, and her confidence is low, she goes for surgery. And she’s all over the place with Lee – she knows the world hates him and her family don’t like him.’
