An employee was stabbed in a Pavilions parking lot in Sherman Oaks.
The employee was stabbed in the back while taking out the trash around 10:55 p.m. Tuesday at the Pavilions located at 14845 Ventura Blvd., a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson said.
The victim was transported to the hospital in stable condition, police said.
A male suspect wearing glasses fled the scene, according to the LAPD.
Video from the scene shows one man injured and loaded into an ambulance who appears to be wearing an employee uniform of the grocery store.
Video also shows at least a dozen LAPD officers and five Los Angeles Fire Department personnel on the scene helping the victim and doing various investigative tasks.
