All 106 Beefeater restaurants across the UK are set to close their doors today.
Following the closure of 89 Brewers Fayre restaurants on Monday, 106 Beefeater locations are expected to shut today as Premier Inn owner Whitbread continues closing off its independent restaurants.
Earlier this month, Whitbread announced dozens of closures of three more restaurant and pub brands, including popular steakhouse Bar + Block, Cookhouse + Pub, and family-friendly pub chain Table Table.
Combined, 261 Whitbread-owned restaurants and pubs are closing this month across the UK as the company moves to shut all standalone restaurant chains and pivot to an ‘integrated food and beverage offer’.
Here’s the full list of Beefeaters and Brewers Fayre locations shutting.

Why are the restaurants shutting?
Announcing the closures, Dominic Paul, Whitbread’s chief executive, said at the time: ‘We plan to convert all our remaining branded restaurants to an integrated food and beverage offer that is preferred by our hotel guests and will unlock the addition of more highly profitable extension rooms.
‘Our continued efforts to drive our commercial plan and efficiencies will extend our market-leading position and allow us to take share from our competitors, many of which are struggling to grow.’
The news comes as more shops and chains on the British high street are currently facing closures.
Most recently, it was revealed that 100 Morrisons Daily stores are to be axed, while the summer saw closures hit Quiz Clothing, popular accessories brand Radley, and corner shop chain Foreways.
