Two people were injured after being struck by a vehicle Saturday afternoon on I-90 in Elk Grove, Illinois State Police said.
Police at 2:34 p.m. responded to a reported three-vehicle crash in the eastbound lane of I-90, police said. Investigators at the scene said two people who were standing near their vehicles at the time were hit by another vehicle. They were taken to local hospitals with injuries, state police said.
There was a partial lane blockage as of 4 p.m. Saturday, state police said.
