New music may be for “wankers,” if you ask Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher, but another tour isn’t. Following the epic Live ’25 tour, which marked Liam and Noel Gallagher’s first time performing together since 2009, the Britpop supergroup is headed back out on a global, 38-show run in 2027.
The band announced the news via a trailer featuring what’s presumably a quote from early in Oasis’s career: “My name is Noel. His name’s Liam. We play rock and roll music about everyday things and about nothing. About being alive and having a good time.” A montage showing decades-spanning concert footage rolls as “Morning Glory,” one of the band’s signature songs, kicks in.
Notably, it’s the title track from Oasis’s 1995 album (What’s the Story) Morning Glory, which is currently having a moment. In July 2026, the record overtook the Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band to become the UK’s best-selling studio album of all time. In addition to still-inescapable 90s rock anthem “Wonderwall,” the album also spawned several the band’s biggest hits, several of which were featured on Oasis Live ’25 setlists: “Hello,” “Roll With It,” “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” “Hey Now!,” “Some Might Say,” “Cast No Shadow,” “She’s Electric,” and the closing “Champagne Supernova.”
Oasis Live ‘27 will see the band play 38 live shows in Scotland, England, Germany, Spain, Netherlands, France, Italy, the U.S., and Ireland. With the exception of their homecoming shows in Manchester, they won’t be returning to any Live ’25 venues.
In an apparent effort to prevent the surge-pricing nightmare that saw tickets sell for double or triple what was advertised when Live ’25 tickets went on sale, the standard ticket price has been locked in from $122.65 to $541.05 including fees and taxes. Purchase requires that fans register before Thursday, 17 September at 11 a.m. ET, after which they’ll receive a unique, non-transferable code to access an allocated on-sale window that goes live on Friday, September 25.
If seeing them live is out of the question, fans can also catch the just-released live concert film Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger. Directed by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight, the film just embarked on a limited theatrical run and is expected to arrive on Disney+ and Hulu at a later, yet-announced date.
A 96% score on Rotten Tomatoes was earned through largely positive reviews: New York opined: “Concert movies are built around performance footage, but they live or die based on crowd footage, and Don’t Look Back in Anger manages to be quite moving on that front.” The New York Times described it as both “a headbanger and tearjerker” while famed film critic Peter Travers quipped: “What do you call a Britpop concert film about two fighting Irish brothers enjoying a temporary cease in hostilities? Try unmissable.”
