Ant McPartlin was so annoyed by the chaos at the I’m A Celebrity final, he reportedly stormed off set during the ad break.

Last night, Adam Thomas was crowned the Ultimate Legend during the grand finale of the I’m A Celebrity South Africa series 2.

However, Adam’s triumph has been overshadowed by on-set tension between Jimmy Bullard, David Haye and other campmates.

Viewers were quick to brand the tense final a car crash, as Ant and Dec struggled to control an irate Jimmy and argumentative David.

However, an audience member has claimed that the problems didn’t stop when the cameras stopped rolling.

According to TikToker @lexhartop, who attended the finale during the ads, things were just as messy.

‘The whole thing was insane, it was such a mess,’ Lex, who was sitting behind Gemma Collins, claimed, even saying that a stressed Ant ‘came off stage and he was vaping and saying the show was a f*cking mess’.

As the chaos ensued, production staff were ‘scrambling to keep the show together,’ and Gogglebox’s Scarlett Moffatt was apparently ‘crying her eyes out at one point’.

Apparently, Dec consoled a crying Scarlet at one point before confronting Jimmy about his behaviour, and it ‘looked very heated’.

Lex also claims ‘everyone was chanting bully at one point to David, and Sinitta was not happy about that.’

Apparently, Sinitta responded to these chants by telling the audience ‘you weren’t there’ before she stormed off stage.

Shortly afterwards, Gemma apparently left the stage as well, telling the cameras that the behaviour was ‘disgusting’.

Supposedly, Adam was caught in the middle of the whole thing and ‘didn’t feel like his normal self’

In another video, Lex explained that Jimmy stood over Adam and demanded an apology at one point, which he says made the audience feel ‘uncomfortable’.

They say that Adam’s family was in attendance and that they left as soon as he was crowned.

This season of I’m A Celebrity has courted a lot of controversy.

David Haye has been under fire for several comments that fans considered misogynistic. He’s also been accused of bullying Adam Thomas.

Adam and Jimmy, meanwhile, fell out later in the series during an aborted trial.

Adam got angry at Jimmy and reportedly called him a c*nt. Jimmy alleges that the footage was edited in such a way to make Adam look like th victim.

Metro has contacted ITV and Ant’s team for comment.
