Ariana Grande has just experienced a digital horror story that has befallen many of us: Posting the wrong photo on social media by mistake.
Modern life is full of new and exciting ways to embarass yourself, and we’ve all been there. Sending a screenshot to the person you’re screenshotting? Bad. Sending your mum a cute picture of your dog only to notice a box of condoms in the background? Stressful. Posting a double-chin selfie on your story when you meant to just send it to a friend? Shudder-inducing.
Accidentally sharing what appeared to be almost your entire breast with your 375 million Instagram followers? That’s…a level of panic most of us can only imagine.
Unfortunately for Ariana Grande, that appears to be exactly what happened this week.
The singer shared an otherwise innocent photo of herself crouching down to pet a working dog in an airport parking lot on June 23.
But eagle-eyed fans quickly noticed something else in the image: as Ariana leaned forward in a red checkered dress, the neckline appeared to gape open enough to reveal far more than she likely intended.
Within minutes, fans flooded the comments section to raise the alarm.
‘uh ariana grande do you know you posted your boob on your instagram,’ one follower wrote on X.
‘Ariana girl, did you mean to post that?? 😭’ asked another.
A third added: ‘ariana baby did u just post ur whole boob on instagram 😭’
Others seemed less concerned and more fascinated by the unfolding social media emergency.
‘Not Ariana accidentally posting a nip slip on Instagram-’ one person wrote.

While another joked: ‘i think she accidentally left it in, decided it was too late and so she didnt remove it to not attract attention 😭😭 honestly if that is the case that is a total power move.’
As the comments multiplied, Ariana eventually disabled them entirely, which is usually the celebrity equivalent of pulling the fire alarm and evacuating the building.
But rather than deleting the photo — the move most of us would make before immediately changing our names and becoming an ostrich farmer in Mpumalanga — Ariana chose a much funnier option.
Instead, she posted a video to her Instagram Story featuring her longtime friend Elizabeth Gillies.
In the clip, which appears to place the pair in front of a lavish CGI party backdrop, Gillies casually takes a sip of champagne before informing Ariana: ‘You have great tits, they’re really beautiful.’
Without missing a beat, Ariana simply replies, straight faced: ‘Thank you.’
The exchange immediately sent fans into hysterics.
‘ARIANA “ACCIDENTALLY” POSTING HER FULL TITTY ON INSTAGRAM THEN POSTING THIS ON HER STORY i’m crying,’ one person wrote on X.
After all, if the entire internet is discussing your accidental nip slip, you can either hide under a blanket forever or raise a virtual champagne glass and move on.
Ariana, characteristically, chose the latter.
