Brieâs family confirmed the news with a moving tribute shared on Friday, December 11.
âYou are the miracle! Your purpose on earth was fulfilled, and it was the most sacred privilege to escort you home,â they wrote. âYou brought people to Christ, you showed the world that God is good, and your light shined to all corners of the earth. We love you for eternity!â
They also shared that Brieâs story will continue to be told.
âWe will never stop,â the family wrote. âPlease come visit us often. Your bedroom door is always open, and weâll leave the playroom light on.â
Another portion of the message read, âYou did it, Brielle, you did everything with grace! I can only imagine the incredible reunion, and Iâm so jealous, but I know you ran straight to Jesus. ð Thank you for being an inspiration to so many.â
Her Stage 4 Neuroblastoma Diagnosis & Recurrence
Brie was first diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma in 2020. At the time, her mother, Kendra, told followers that doctors had discovered an 8-centimeter tumor in Brieâs abdomen, along with cancer that had spread to her back.
About two years later, the family celebrated when Brie was declared cancer-free. That milestone was short-lived. In January 2024, the cancer returned.
âI hope you never have to tell your child that the cancer is back,â Kendra wrote while sharing the devastating update.
Brie Entered Hospice Care After Making a Brave Decision
Brie entered hospice care in early July 2025, as Kendra shared with friends and followers. In a deeply personal post, she recalled a moment that showed the gravity of her daughterâs condition.
Kendra said Brie asked, âIs it okay if I say no this time? I just want to be home, I donât feel good when I am there, but Iâm scared not to go too.â
Kendra agreed to honor her daughterâs wishes and told her she did not have to return to the hospital.
âI called the hospital and told them we decided not to come this week,â Kendra wrote. âWe want to respect her decision, give her the chance to speak up for herself, and with no promise that itâll work anyway, I canât force her to be miserable.â
Ariana Grande Brings Joy to Brieâs Final Weeks
Despite the heartbreak of hospice care, Brieâs loved ones focused on filling her final days with joy. On August 7, she received a surprise package from one of her favorite celebrities, Ariana Grande.
Brie later shared a video unboxing the gifts, many inspired by âWickedâ and Grandeâs character Glinda. The package included plush Squishmallows, nail polish, perfume, and other thoughtful items.
âThank you so, so, so, so much, Ariana Grande. I love everything in the package that you got, especially the Squishmallows and everything else,â Brie said in the video.
The clip ended with a personal message from Grande, who said she learned about Brieâs love of âWickedâ through her mom.
âIâve seen your videos, and I think you are the most amazing, most inspiring little light beam in this universe. Youâre just so incredible, so thank you for being you,â Grande said. âIâm sending you so much love and many, many, many virtual hugs. I hope this makes you smile, and Iâll speak to you soon. Love you.â
For the family and the community that followed her journey, Brieâs light and courage remain unforgettable.
