Alec Baldwin responded through an Instagram video shared by The Daily Beast, telling fans, “I just wanna say I love Paul Dano… and if you don’t love Paul Dano, shhhh.” Comedian Zach Woods took a humorous approach in an Instagram Reel, joking that “weird-looking white boys have to stand up for each other,” before telling Tarantino to “shut up.”

Josh Gad, David Krumholtz and screenwriter Mattson Tomlin also praised Dano’s talent and consistency. Tomlin highlighted Dano’s skill behind the camera as well, encouraging audiences to watch his directorial debut “Wildlife,” per The Daily Beast.
