This year’s Amazon Prime Day discounts have gone live and they include price cuts for both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles.
With video game software and hardware growing ever more expensive (just look at how much the Steam Machine costs), it’s more important than ever to take advantage of sales, wherever and whenever they happen.
This year’s Amazon Prime Day has already begun and is scheduled to run all the way through Friday, June 26 for Amazon Prime members.
As always, we’ve scoured through Amazon’s offers to find the best deals across PlayStation 5, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch, which we’ll continue to update if and when more deals are added.
So far though, pickings are slim but, unlike last year, there are some console discounts. Both the standard and digital editions of the PlayStation 5 are currently more affordable than usual at 16% and 8% off, respectively, bringing them down to less than £500.

As for Xbox, Amazon is offering discounts on the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, although they are refurbished versions and not brand new.
Unfortunately, there are once again no discounts for the Nintendo Switch 2, although that’s not surprising given it’s barely a year old at this point.
