Brooklyn Beckham has proclaimed he’s ‘stronger than ever’ with Nicola Peltz as they celebrate four years of marriage.
The 27-year-old aspiring chef noted that he and his wife had ‘been through so much together’ as part of an anniversary post on Instagram, which appeared to be a thinly-veiled reference to the bitter feud with his parents, Sir David and Victoria Beckham.
Brooklyn and his 31-year-old billionaire heiress wife got married in Florida back in 2022, before later renewing their vows last August in a ceremony his parents weren’t invited to.
He marked their fourth anniversary with an emotional note on a white bouquet of flowers.
The note was shared on his Instagram Story, and read: ‘Happy 4 year anniversary baby I love you with all my heart.
‘We have been though so much together but today we are stronger than ever and you are my best friend.
‘I can’t wait to grow old together with you. Love you so much x.’
He captioned the story: ‘Happy anniversary @nicolaannepeltzbeckham x love you with all my heart.
‘Can’t wait to stay young with you xx love you so much x.’
Brooklyn’s sweet note comes as he has been embroiled in a high-profile fallout with his parents, while actress Nicola recently claimed her own parents, Nelson Peltz and Claudia Heffner Peltz, have welcomed her husband into the family like one of their own.
Asked how he has been treated by her mother and father, she told Elle Spain in March: ‘Like another son.’
The Beauty star also revealed his bond with her siblings, saying of her husband: ‘He gets along really well with my brothers. They play soccer together a lot.’
It comes after Brooklyn, who wasn’t included in his mum’s lavish Easter egg gifting, shared a bombshell Instagram post in January in which he accused his parents of being responsible for the family rift.
He claimed that his mother had ‘hijacked my first dance with my wife’ and ‘danced very inappropriately on me’ in front of their 500 wedding guests.
‘I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life,’ he added.
‘We wanted to renew our vows so we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment.’
A recent ‘humiliating’ revelation from their original wedding day might be the most cringe-inducing yet as The Cut reported that a guest claimed the rabbi conducting the ceremony called Brooklyn ‘David’ as the couple stood on the altar.
They continued, saying that the rabbi stuttered and asked for forgiveness, explaining the moment by saying he, ‘was a soccer fan.’
The insider also alleged that the rabbi made the same mistake a second time before the vows were completed.
The publication noted: ‘It was, as one witness described it, uncomfortably Oedipal.’
Brooklyn has already detailed other parts of the wedding drama, including an additional conflict over Victoria not designing the bride’s dress, which her son claimed she pulled out of making at ‘the eleventh hour’.
The split has also seen Brooklyn seemingly cut off contact with brothers Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 21 – as well as 14-year-old sister Harper.
In the final story post of Brooklyn’s explosive public statement at the start of the year, he explained that the couple and their ‘future family’ just want ‘peace, privacy and happiness’.
Brooklyn wrote: ‘The narrative that my wife controls me is completely backwards. I have been controlled by my parents for most of my life.
‘I grew up with overwhelming anxiety. For the first time in my life, since stepping away from my family, that anxiety has disappeared.
‘I wake up every morning grateful for the life I chose, and have found peace and relief.
‘My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press, or manipulation. All we want peace, privacy and happiness for us and our future family.’
