Call The Midwife star Helen George has split from her boyfriend, seven months after they moved in together.
The actress, 42, had been dating property marketing agency manager Dan Innes, 52, since March 2025.
Earlier this year, he moved in to the London home which she shares with her two children, Wren Ivy and Lark, from with ex-partner and co-star Jack Ashton.
However, it was reported as this week that Helen and Dan have split up, with the latter being pictured moving his belongings out of her home.
With a source confirming their apparent break-up, Helen has taken to social media to share a series of posts hinting at her heartbreak.
This includes reposting a quote to her Instagram Story which made reference to ‘responding to disrespect.’
The full quote in the now expired Instagram Story read: ‘I absolutely take responsibility for when I am wrong. But I will never apologise for responding to disrespect.
‘If you lit the match, do not stand in the flames pretending to be the victim.’
Another repost said: ‘I don’t want my daughter to be like me. I want her to speak up sooner. Walk away faster. Trust herself deeper. Apologise less. Take up more space. Ask bigger questions. Dream louder. And if that means she becomes everything I wasn’t good.’
Earlier this week, she also posted a picture of her daughter with the caption: ‘When the chaos leaves, the calm resumes.’
This was accompanied by a praying hands emoji, often meant to indicate gratitude when used in text or social media speak.
Helen’s social media activity comes after a source told The Sun: ‘Helen and Dan have gone their separate ways. They had a whirlwind romance but their differences became apparent. It has been a difficult time for them both.’
Helen and Dan are said to have begun their romance after meeting on the dating app Raya.
They went on to document their relationship in a series of loved-up social media posts on Valentine’s Day and on holiday together in Cornwall.
Dan has two children of his own, aged 14 and 12, from a previous marriage which is believed to have lasted from 2008 to 2016.
He could be seen at Helen’s side at a number of industry events, including a screening of Call The Midwife.
Helen’s romance with Dan came after her split from former co-star Jack, who she dated for seven years.
The pair had met on the hit BBC show, where she played Trixie Franklin, while he starred as Tom Hereward.
In a case of art imitating real life, their characters shared a romantic relationship – although Trixie called things off after he proposed to her.
It’s believed that the actors fell for one another while in South Africa, filming the 2016 Christmas special.
In 2017, the pair welcomed eldest daughter Wren Ivy. Four years later, and Lark was born.
By July 2023, Helen and Jack had parted ways.
Confirming their break-up, Helen told The Mirror at the time: ‘Some months ago, we separated.
‘Our two beautiful girls remain the focus and I respectfully ask for privacy for this next chapter.’
A source also explained: ‘Helen and Jack’s decision to end their relationship has been amicable, and no one else is involved, they have just grown apart as a couple.
‘They are both incredibly committed to working together to be the best parents they can for their two daughters.’
Metro has contacted Helen George’s representatives for comment.
