Harper Beckham has a special day fast approaching – but there’s a cloud looming over it.
On July 10, the youngest Beckham child will turn 15, inevitably being spoiled by doting parents David and Victoria and older brothers Cruz, 21, and Romeo, 23.
A family member who will be absent from the celebrations, however, is Brooklyn, who remains in the States with his wife, Nicola Peltz, following a year of estrangement from his own brood.
For Harper’s 14th, it’s understood that the budding chef, 27, did not wish her well privately, leading to assumptions that this year will be no different.
In fact, it’s claimed that Brooklyn has not spoken to Harper at all since falling out with his mum and dad and accusing them of ‘controlling’ him in a bombshell statement, despite always being close to his little sister.
Latest reports say that Harper is ‘heartbroken’ not to be on speaking terms with Brooklyn anymore, putting a dampener on her upcoming birthday.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, a source revealed: ‘Harper is heartbroken and devastated at her brother’s decision not to speak to her, and now her birthday is just days away; it becomes a difficult scenario once again.
‘They were so close. Now he won’t speak to her, and she can’t understand why. There is nothing worse for Harper than him ignoring her on her birthday.’
The insider added that ‘all [Harper] she wants is to have a relationship with her big brother’.
‘It is so horrifying and awful for David and Victoria to see.’
‘Of course, everyone else in the family shows Harper so much love,’ they concluded. ‘But for the second year running, it’s likely there will be nothing from Brooklyn.
‘It’s not her fault that he is estranged. They’ve never had a cross word.’
In 2025, Brooklyn and actress Nicola shared a throwback snap with the teen for her birthday, writing, ‘Happy birthday harper we love u x’ on top.
That’s as far as it went, though, with moles suggesting that the reason for Brooklyn creating distance between himself and Harper is because he doesn’t want to put her in a ‘difficult situation’.
Friends of former footballer David and Spice Girls icon Victoria have branded that a ‘stupid and insulting excuse’, though.
Last month, Brooklyn’s relationship with Harper made headlines once more when she turned up at his home in Beverly Hills to hand-deliver a letter, having been just five miles away to celebrate David’s Hollywood Walk of Fame star unveiling.
But her attempts were unsuccessful, as photos captured the aspiring beauty guru leaving as quickly as she had arrived, having to drop the letter off for Brooklyn to pick up when he returned.
The incident sparked fury in Brooklyn’s camp, who hit out after Page Six reported that Harper turned up ‘unannounced’ and ‘left seconds later without seeing him’.
A rep said in a statement to Metro: ‘That photographers were in place as the letter was hand-delivered says it all – this was choreographed for the cameras.’
Retaliating, a source for the Beckhams later added: ‘This is clearly nonsense and just another untrue and unfair accusation.’
Shortly after the saga, it emerged that Brooklyn and Nicola were actually in New York City at the time, not Los Angeles, as the Lola star shared a photo of her husband jogging, tagging the location.
The drama did not cease there, though, as Nicola reignited the flames last week with her most savage swipe yet.
Taking to Instagram after her brother Will Peltz, 40, married Kenya Kinski-Jones, 33, the heiress fawned over their romance, describing it as ‘special’ and ‘beautiful’.
She also wrote: ‘This wedding was truly one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever had the privilege of witnessing. Willy, thank you for finally and officially giving me my dream sister, Ken.’
Her ‘dream sister’ remark stunned followers, given that Nicola said in 2024, before she and Brooklyn severed ties with the Beckhams, that Harper was her ‘perfect, dream little sister’, adding proudly: ‘I’m so blessed I get to have her as my little sister in my life.’
Reps for David, Victoria, and Brooklyn Beckham have been contacted for comment.
