Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden have secretly welcomed their third child.
The Good Charlotte rock star, 47, revealed the news that he and his Hollywood actress wife, 53, had welcomed a baby in an Instagram post.
He shared: ‘Cameron and I are Happy, Excited, and feeling so BLESSED to announce the birth of our third Child, Nautas Madden. Welcome to the world Son!!👊❤️
‘We love life with our family- our kids are healthy&happy, and we are grateful!!!🙏🙏having a blast ❤️Sending all our best wishes- the Madden Family.’
No photos were shared of the newborn, however Benji posted a picture of a ship and the name’s meaning, which is: ‘Sailor, navigator, voyager. One who embarks on a journey and fears not the unknown.’
His wife replied to the post with a series of stars and love heart emojis.
The couple – who married in 2015 – already shared daughter Raddix, who born in December 2019 via surrogate, and son Cardinal, who was born in March 2024.
Just last month Cameron was spotted filming her latest movie – titled The Sham – in New York.
As reported by Deadline, the romantic comedy directed by Stephen Merchant follows a workaholic Brit (Stephen) employed at an upscale New York hotel who needs a wife for appearances.
After he makes a deal with a struggling stand-up comedian (Cameron) who is desperate for health insurance, their fake marriage turns from a ‘business transaction into an unexpected romance’.
Last year Cameron returned to acting following a decade-long hiatus with a starring role opposite Jamie Foxx in the action-comedy Back in Action, which was released on Netflix.
She is also next set to star in other films including the Netflix action-comedy Bad Day and reprise her voice role as Princess Fiona in Shrek 5.
The actress stepped away from the limelight after playing Miss Hannigan in 2014’s Annie. The following year she married her husband.
Speaking about her decision to take a break from acting, in 2021 she told Kevin Hart on his talk show Hart to Heart that when she was approaching 40, she noticed there were ‘so many parts of my life that I wasn’t touching or managing’.
‘I just really wanted to make my life manageable by me. My routine in a day is literally what I can manage to do by myself,’ she explained.
When appearing on The Graham Norton Show in January last year she also spoke about her gratitude at being able to return to acting after so many years, sharing that having the ‘door even open for me after a decade was amazing’.
‘It is a privilege to make films, and we are all so lucky to do what we do,’ she said, adding that while she ‘loved those 10 years for me and my family’ she also thought that ‘if I let this go away, if I don’t engage again and if I don’t give it chance, I am a fool’.
‘It might be the beginning of something, but it’s here now, and I am grateful for it,’ she added.
In 2020, Cameron shared that being a mother was the ‘best, best part’ of her life. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight she said: ‘I love being a mother. I’m so grateful and so happy and it’s the best thing ever and I’m so lucky to do it with Benji.’
