Dragons’ Den viewers were stunned after a teacher received three five-figure offers for his twist on golf.
Glyn Richards entered the den with his finger golf business, which dragons Peter Jones and Steven Bartlett were desperate to play before he even began talking.
Glyn asked for a £30,000 investment for a 15% stake in the product.
Steven and Peter had the time of their lives putting miniature balls with their tiny clubs, but fellow dragons Deborah Meaden, Touker Suleyman and Jenna Meek had serious questions for the budding entrepreneur.
Glyn told the dragons he was charging £30 for the game which cost only £2.53 to manufacture.
Touker gasped and told Glyn: ‘It’s a lot of money for that.’ He later admitted he’d ‘struggle’ to sell the game for £30.

The product was compared to the classic football alternative, Subbuteo (Picture: BBC)
Deborah agreed it was ‘a big ask’ for £30 and urged Glyn to reduce the value to £19.99.
However, before even commenting on the pitch, Peter grinned: ‘I’d like to make an offer.’ He put forward paying all the money but for 30% of the business, double what Glyn had proposed.
Viewers at home were baffled, with @paulus837 posting on X: ‘Is Peter having laff?’
‘Finger golf??? Seriously. Some people have more money than sense,’ said @LucyP23_oldie
@I_am_KenBarlow compared the product to a Millenial classic: ‘It’s like Subbuteo with the fun removed.’ And he wasn’t the only one, with @k_heyrab adding: ‘Finger golf, sounds like Subbuteo and that’s not a thing anymore.

‘Costs £3 to make and you’re selling it for £30,’ fumed @Lionsroar_79.
‘I mean, I like a trestle table covered with Astroturf as much as the next person. And I don’t mind a finger-adapted golf club. Or mini balsa wood pine trees. But it all looks a bit clunky, and it’s £30,’ noted @angelapinbuild, while @Toughtruth5 called it ‘extortionate’.
Regardless, Glyn was the last one laughing when he eventually got three offers from three dragons. Touker and Jenna match Peter’s offer – but it was enough.
Glyn accepted Peter’s offer and left the den delighted.
‘I’m elated, overwhelmed… being an entrepreneur with Peter Jones as a partner, he’s gong to open so many doors. It’s going to be an exciting couple of years.’
