Wakestones are one of the most valuable items in Dragon’s Dogma 2, as they’re able to revive any character, but they’re not easy to find.

Capcom’s Dragon’s Dogma 2 hasn’t been out very long but it has already thrown a few curveballs fans’ way, such as the plague that could very well could ruin your save if you’re not careful.

The action role-player is also full of useful and rare resources such as the Wakestone, which can revive you or any other characters (but not pawns) if they die.

The Wakestones are important, not just because they let you revive someone, but because they’re very rare, so each one is extra valuable to have in your inventory. Finding them, however, isn’t so easy.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 Wakestone Shard locations

To make one Wakestone you need to fuse three Wakestone Shards together. These shards are scattered all around world, usually in treasure chests.

It’s also worth mentioning that if you come across the Dragon’s Gaze item, you can consume it and the nearest Wakestone Shards will appear on your map.

There are three known Wakestones in Harve Village: one in the Old Lighthouse, one in the Northern Harve Ruins, and one north east of Harve Village on a cliff overlooking the dock.

There are also two Wakestone Shards in or near Melve. One is found in Ulrika’s house, while the other shard is in a cave called Mt. Alles Tunnel east of Melve.

You’ll find at least three shards in Malachite Forest, one of which is towards the end of the trail in the north east section of the forest on top of a shrine. A second shard is found in the Mountain Ruins in the forest, and the last shard in the Sacred Arbor area is inside the Arborist’s bedroom.

In or near Hernworth you can find seven shards, three of which are in Vermund’s Charnel House. Another shard is found in the Goblin Camp north east of Hernworth, and just west of Hernworth you’ll find a fifth Wakestone Shard near the waterfall.

Head east to find another one at Spirits’ Path, and the seventh shard is found inside Vernworth Castle.
