As fans eagerly await “The Devil Wears Prada 2,” a new trailer has dropped that offers up a glimpse at the fashion-savvy characters in action. That, of course, includes Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci, who all look amazing in the preview while nailing their iconic roles.
Granted, there was one blink-and-you’ll-miss-it mistake in the trailer that created a delighted reaction from those who happened to see it.

If you can’t seem to find anything wrong with the trailer, that’s because the error occurs in the background and doesn’t last very long at all.

Fans Loved the Silly Moment
“An eagle-eyed fan spotted an amusing editing error after the final trailer for ‘Devil Wears Prada 2’ dropped on Tuesday,” according to Page Six. “In one shot of Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway) crossing a New York City street â wearing a dark grey suit, black boots and oversized sunglasses â a bystander can be seen inside a taxi filming the scene on her phone.”
One person took to X to share a screenshot of the moment and wrote, âthis girl having her phone just wide out the window in the trailer is frying me.â
You could argue that the woman in the taxi was simply taking a random picture that has nothing to do with the fact that an A-list star was filming a highly anticipated movie right in front of her… but it’s still funny.
When the “Devil Wears Prada 2” trailer fail was shared on social media, it prompted a range of responses from fans.
