Actor Glen Powell has been discussing the moment he found out one of his fans eats something very strange every day.
Powell, 37, is a huge movie star. His credits include the likes of 2014’s “The Expendables 3,” 2022’s “Top Gun: Maverick,” 2023’s “Anyone but You,” 2024’s “Twisters,” and 2025’s “The Running Man.” He is also known for his roles in television shows like “Scream Queens” and “Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous” (per IMDb).
Per Entertainment Weekly, the actor was speaking with The Hollywood Reporter for their “Comedy Actor Roundtable” podcast.
Alongside Powell for the episode were fellow actors Harrison Ford, Owen Wilson, Riz Ahmed, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and Zach Braff, as well as The Hollywood Reporter’s Lacey Rose. The episode was uploaded on Wednesday, May 20.
The camaraderie in the group was fantastic. The conversation topic soon turned to a fan who, rather peculiarly, eats an edible photograph of his face every day.
Glen Powell Learned About the Fan on a Red Carpet
Glen Powell told his fellow guests on the “Comedy Actor Roundtable” episode that he was on a red carpet when he found out about the fan who eats a picture of his face every day.
They were all talking about the strangest things fans had ever said to them. Powell began his story by saying, “I didn’t know this was a thing until it was described to me while I was on the red carpet.”
He went on, “They’re like, ‘Hey, the girl that eats your face is on the red carpet.’ I go, ‘What are you talking about?’”
The fan in question is called Monique and she’s a London-based TikTok personality with 16,800 followers. Monique began her daily challenge in June 2025. She has since posted herself eating what she says are “100% fully edible” photos of Powell.
Her videos are captioned with the number of days she’s been doing it for, followed by the words “eating a 100% edible photo of Glen Powell until he casts me in one of his movies or tv shows as an extra.”
On one occasion, she even ate a signed photograph of Powell in front of him, to which he replied “this is savage!”
Suffice it to say there are some colorful comments from fellow TikTok users on Monique’s paper-eating videos.
TikTok Users Tell Monique ‘Don’t Give Up’
GettyMonique’s followers have commented in their droves on the videos in which she eats pictures of Glen Powell. Most of the comments encourage her to keep going until she is cast in one of his movies.
One TikTok user pleaded, “please don’t ever stop unless he casts you.”
Another person wrote, “Been here since day 50 something ðªðªðª donât give up broski.”
Someone else commented, “I swear if he doesnât cast u I will find him.”
A shocked individual proclaimed, “i cant believe you’ve already eaten 120 glens ð¥¹.”
Finally, a user noted, “i canât believe he still hasnât noticed you .. see you tomorrow queen.”
To date, Monique hasn’t been cast in any of Glen Powell’s movies. We sincerely hope it happens for her one day.
