The death of a construction worker in Palatine Wednesday afternoon is currently under investigation, according to Palatine police.
First responders arrived at a call in the 400 block of West Mahogany Court about a construction worker who had fallen from a roof at 3:48 p.m., Palatine police said. A 40-year-old man was found unresponsive at the scene, where he was pronounced dead.
The incident is under investigation by the Palatine Police Department, the Palatine Fire Department and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
