This Hollywood actor posted a nude selfie to mark his 63rd birthday, leaving everyone stunned at how he’s seemingly defied the laws of biology.
Posing in the bathroom, he showed off his toned physique, shocking fans who flocked to the comments, declaring, ’63 is the new 36!’
Having risen to fame with his Emmy-nominated performance as Blackie Parrish in the soap General Hospital and becoming best known for his starring role as Jesse Katsopolis in ABC sitcom Full House, John Stamos has a loyal legion of fans.
With Broadway stints, executive producing credits, and even live shows with The Beach Boys under his belt, it’s fair to say he’s had a varied career.
And what better way to celebrate another year around the sun than with a thirst trap that makes your 4.5million followers beg for ‘mercy’?
Taking to Instagram, the actor covered his face in the black-and-white pic, leaving his naked torso sans towel to steal the limelight.
The selfie was cropped carefully just above his waist, making it just about safe for social media.
Within hours, he’d attracted thousands of thirsty comments, including one from actress and singer Rita Wilson.
The 69-year-old wrote: ’63???? You have the numbers flipped. 36!!’
‘Uncle Jesse why are you doing this to us 😩’, commented @the_burratababe, while @kirbiejohnson said: ‘Have meeeeeercyyyyyy’.
@thepoptimist praised Stamos for ‘raising the bar on how to age’, as @emilygregory86 said he’s ‘never looked better’.
‘DONT DO THIS TO ME STAMOS’, added @femmedebloom.
‘Uncle Jesse bout to break the internet 🎉🎉’, @casey_atchison4_ predicted.
Meanwhile, @fullhouse4ever admitted they ‘nearly passed out’ after seeing the star in his birthday suit.
This isn’t the first time Stamos has shared a nude pic on the ‘Gram, though, as it’s become somewhat of a tradition.
It’s one he started when he hit the big 6-0 in August 2023 by sharing a cheeky outdoor shower snap, taken by his wife Caitlin McHugh, whom he wed in 2018 and shares son Billy with.
‘The other side of 60,’ he captioned it jokingly, looking over his shoulder while covering his modesty.
He resumed the shower shots for his 62nd birthday, this time on the rooftop in Calvin Klein underwear, closing his eyes for the pic as water poured over him, practically in slow motion.
Stamos wrote: ‘A rooftop birthday shower in NYC to start the day, and the love of family and friends to carry me through.
‘At 62, I’ve learned the best things in life can’t be washed away…laughter, love, and gratitude. Thank you for every wish and every year. I don’t take a single drop for granted.’
It was also the year he got his first tattoo, which he debuted online by sharing that he was ‘stepping into a new chapter’ involving ‘taking bigger swings’.
He got the inking (an image of the ‘Appeal to the Great Spirit’ statue) on his upper arm ‘as a reminder to stay brave, stay open, and trust the direction the art is taking [him]’.
Stamos has long been described as a celeb who ‘doesn’t age’.
Speaking previously about maintaining his buff and youthful appearance, he told Us Weekly: ‘Well, I don’t do a lot. I wash my face. Depends on if there’s some scrub around. I work out three or four times a week. I do this electric muscle-stimulant thing where you put a suit on, but you only wear it for 20 minutes.
‘But good sleep now is important. Having a young son helps.’
When asked how it feels to be a ‘zaddy’, he quipped, ‘Do I get an award?’ before admitting the compliments are ‘flattering’ yet ‘weird’.
‘People come up, “Hey, John, how are you doing?” I’m like, “Do you know who I am?” I guess I’ve just been around a long time, but I’m still blown away by it.’
He added that he wanted to be famous his ‘whole life’ and ‘didn’t care’ about acting and has now realised that appearing in Full House in the 80s and 90s has shaped his legacy… even if he did want to quit the show at first because he ‘hated’ it.
‘I think the one thing that I wanted to get away from so badly, Full House, is the one thing that’s kept me around.’
