A new trailer for Jeremy Clarkson’s hit Amazon Prime series has shown the moment he was hospitalised after suffering from a heart condition.

Clarkson’s Farm is returning to our screens once more for season 5 this this summer.

Last time around, Clarkson was seen battling with the West Oxfordshire district council as they tried to launch the gastropub, The Farmer’s Dog, alongside a new shop and butcher’s.

However, in this latest installment, Jeremy can be seen experiencing a major health scare that causes doctors to order him to take it easy.

The latest sneak peak begins with the former Top Gear star showing off his piece of cutting-edge machinery – a driverless tractor, much to the distaste of farming contractor Kaleb Cooper.

A new flock of supposedly ‘Easy Care’ sheep then arrive on the Diddly Squat Farm to cause mayhem.

Meanwhile, a government budget has sent shockwaves through the UK farming community, making things even tougher for the farmers.

But in a shocking turn, Jeremy can be seen with tubes and wires attached to his body on a hospital bed before he tells Kaleb: ‘My heart wasn’t getting any blood.’

This comes after Jeremy revealed last year that he was just ‘days from death’.

Writing in his Sunday Times column in October, the 64-year-old broadcaster said he suffered a string of sudden and severe symptoms that began during a holiday.

After noticing pins and needles in his arm, he was then rushed to hospital where he was told ne artery was completely blocked and another was nearly closed.

A doctor then told him that he was ‘days away’ from catastrophe.

A synopsis for the new season states: ‘‘Clarkson’s Farm is back, and amidst a government budget that sends the UK farming community into uproar, Jeremy decides some big changes are needed to make the farm run more smoothly.

‘But while the farm tries to go high-tech – resulting in Kaleb’s first ever trip abroad – even bigger developments are heading for Diddly Squat that are going to prove much more of a challenge.’

When is each episode of Clarkson’s Farm airing?

The Amazon Prime Video farming series will return on June 3.

  • Episodes 1-4 available June 3
  • Episodes 5-6 available June 10
  • Episodes 7-8 available June 17

Last month, Kaleb shared a photo of the aftermath of a fire that tore through a barn on his property.

The 27-year-old recently purchased his own smallholding nearby to the Diddly Squat Farm, where he keeps chickens, sheep and pigs.

However, taking to Instagram, Kaleb shared a photo which showed smoke filtering out of his barn and all the straw that had been stored inside had been destroyed.

Clarkson’s Farm series 5 will return on 3rd June on Amazon Prime Video.
