Kanye “Ye” West’s past controversies are coming back to haunt him. The media mogul’s planned appearance as a headliner for the Wireless Festival 2026 in London was ultimately canceled after the UK government blocked his entry into the country. In April 2026, the Home Office revoked his Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA), stating that his presence was “not conducive to the public good,” according to <a href=”https://www.visaverge.com/news/uk-denies-rapper-ye-entry-visa-forces-wireless-festival-cancellation/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>VisaVerge. Festival organizers also determined that they could not replace West on short notice. They then made the decision to cancel the entire festival, issuing refunds to ticket holders.

Now, West is facing another cancellation — and this time, it’s in Poland. According to <a href=”https://people.com/kanye-west-poland-concert-deemed-unacceptable-and-canceled-amid-controversy-11952765″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>People, the director of the Silesian Stadium in Chorzów, Poland, announced the show’s cancellation on April 17, 2026.

“We would like to inform you that the Ye (Kanye West) concert planned for 19 June 2026 at the … Slaski stadium will not take place due to formal and legal reasons,” Adam Strzyzewski, the stadium’s director, said in a statement, according to a translation from <a href=”https://www.reuters.com/world/kanye-west-concert-poland-will-be-cancelled-newspaper-reports-2026-04-17/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Reuters.

Polish Culture Minister Marta Cienkowska also posted to <a href=”https://x.com/MartaCienkowska/status/2044777688464855205″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>X about West’s past “antisemitic views.”

“We are talking about an artist who has publicly expressed antisemitic views, downplayed crimes, and profited from selling swastika T-shirts,” she reportedly wrote. “These are not ‘controversies.’ This is a deliberate crossing of boundaries and the normalization of hatred.”

Before this concert cancellation, West chose to postpone his upcoming summer show in Marseille, France.

“After much thought and consideration, it is my sole decision to postpone my show in Marseille, France, until further notice,” he posted to <a href=”https://x.com/kanyewest/status/2044237816474058843″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>X.

“I know it takes time to understand the sincerity of my commitment to make amends,” he continued in a follow-up <a href=”https://x.com/kanyewest/status/2044259369030955020″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>post. “I take full responsibility for what’s mine but I don’t want to put my fans in the middle of it. My fans are everything to me. Looking forward to the next shows. See you at the top of the globe.”
