<p id=”par-1_45″>California’s largest music festival has come and gone after plenty of celebrities and influencers flocked to the desert to see their favorite performers rock the stage. Some of the stars’ children even made an appearance, including <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/kim-kardashian-sparks-concern-latest-outfit-fans-asking-organs.html/?swcfpc=1″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Kim Kardashian</a> and <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/kanye-wests-recent-quote-best-kim-kardashian-deemed-fake.html/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Kanye West</a>‘s eldest daughter, <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/north-west-has-already-been-seen-with-hermes-bags-the-brand-didnt-turn-the-preteen-away.html/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>North West</a>.</p>
<p id=”par-2_18″>The 12-year-old’s attendeance an her appearance sparked backlash after a video questioning North’s mother went viral. </p>
<p id=”par-3_66″>Several photos were shared online of North showing up to the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival with her friends, and a few of those posts garnered <a href=”https://x.com/IfunanyaDelilah/status/2042949751365149082″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>millions of views</a>. Now, there are plenty of opinions about how North was dressed, where her mom was, and what the preteen was even doing at what some described as “a modern sex, drugs, and rock and roll festival.”</p>

<p id=”par-4_25″>North arrived at Coachella with her pals wearing her long blue hair down and donning a black-and-white shirt, black shorts, and chunky black boots. </p>
<p id=”par-5_41″>One X user <a href=”https://x.com/OliLondonTV/status/2044967917603946857″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>shared a video clip</a> with North and her friends’ images and posted, “They’re wearing too short of shorts. They’re wearing so much makeup and hair … I cannot believe that a parent doesn’t want to protect their daughter.”</p>
<p id=”par-6_60″>The woman in the video, which has racked up over 380,000 views, expressed more concern over the kids attending the festival and not supervised by their parents, saying, “These are 12-year-old children, 12-year-old children at Coachella. She was being put in inappropriate, adult situations … I was gonna say alone, but then I realized that they probably have bodyguards. </p>
<p id=”par-7_28″>“But not their parents … Parents, we must protect the next generation. We must protect their eyes. We must protect their minds. We must protect their bodies.”</p>

<p id=”par-8_14″>Many of the commenters agreed and didn’t hold back as they called out Kardashian.</p>
<p id=”par-9_41″>“What self-respecting parent would send their 12 YEAR OLD to what is effectively a modern sex, drugs, and rock and roll festival?” one user asked, while another added, “Her mom is famous for a sex tape, what else did you expect?”</p>
<p id=”par-10_49″>A third person said, “I would be surprised if Kardashian even knew her child went to Coachella before she went. Maybe she noticed the overtime on a guards timesheet, and asked why, but even that is not likely. An eternally vain, surgically altered family that survives on being seen.”</p>
<p id=”par-11_44″>Other commenters chimed in writing, “Yes I know it was the weekend but a 12-year-old should not be there,” and “Even if her parents are millionaires, she shouldn’t be allowed all this ..she is so young, both of her parents are to blame.” </p>

<p id=”par-12_30″>Some did defend Kim K and criticized others for picking on her for how she raises her child and opining that there was nothing wrong with North’s outfit choice. </p>
<p id=”par-13_23″>During his Coachella set, rapper Young Thug <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/young-thug-asks-north-west-kanye-west-kim-kardashian-coachella-set.html/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>spotted North in the crowd</a> and said, “What’s up, North? How you doing? Where your parents?” </p>
<p id=”par-14_45″>Kardashian was actually at the festival. The <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/kim-kardashian-posts-family-christmas-photo-confusing-outfit.html/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>mother of four </a>was there with her boyfriend, F1 driver Lewis Hamilton. North later joined her mother and Hamilton for Justin Bieber’s Coachella set as they were seen walking to the VIP section in front of the stage. </p>
