Kylie Jenner is facing a bombshell lawsuit after her former private chef claimed the overly demanding nature of her job contributed to her suffering a miscarriage.

The complaint, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday, alleges the chef was required to carry out strenuous work while pregnant despite informing supervisors she needed reasonable accommodations, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Jenner, 28, and business management firm Tri Star have both been named as defendants.

The former employee, who has not been publicly identified, claims she was hired to work for the reality star in November 2024.

By the following month, she says she informed her supervisors she was around three months pregnant and requested workplace adjustments to protect her health.

Instead, the lawsuit alleges she was expected to continue carrying out physically demanding tasks.

According to the complaint, while working a New Year’s Eve event she was instructed to ‘lift and transport heavy food items across the street and uphill without assistance.’

The chef claims she became dizzy, began choking and gasping for air, and ultimately required help from security staff, who gave her water and came to her aid.

The lawsuit also alleges she was not given adequate support while catering a birthday party for one of Jenner’s children in Palm Springs in early February 2025.

After hours of work, she allegedly ‘broke down emotionally’ because of the ‘exhaustion and overwhelming physical strain’ of the event.

The complaint claims she experienced ‘extreme physical exhaustion and heaviness throughout her body’ by the end of the day before suffering hemorrhaging the following morning.

She was taken to hospital, where she was allegedly told she had lost her unborn baby.

Her lawyer, Della Shaker, told the Los Angeles Times: ‘Celebrity status does not exempt anyone from California’s employment laws. We look forward to presenting the evidence in court and allowing the facts to speak for themselves.’

Speaking to The Independent, Shaker added: ‘Given that the laws apply equally to everyone, regardless of wealth, influence, or public profile, our client also deserves the same protections afforded to every employee in California.’

The latest lawsuit is not the first legal challenge Jenner has faced this year.

In April, two former housekeepers filed separate complaints against the beauty mogul.

One, Angelica Hernandez Vasquez, alleged she endured a ‘toxic and abusive environment’ while working at Jenner’s Los Angeles home between September 2024 and August 2025.

A second former employee, Juana Delgado Soto, accused Jenner of racial discrimination, harassment, unpaid wages and failing to prevent discrimination and harassment, among other allegations.

Jenner has not publicly responded to the latest claims.
