Oasis 2027 tour: Everything we know after Etihad drone show

Where were you when everyone was scrambling to get Oasis tickets after they announced their reunion tour back in 2024?

It was the hottest ticket in town as many fans battled dreaded Ticketmaster queues to get their hands on the much-awaited golden ticket to the reunion tour that Noel and Liam Gallagher fans had been dreaming about for years.

Oasis ’25 saw the brothers and their band perform 41 shows in 14 countries across five continents, with massive turnouts at venues like London’s Wembley Stadium and their home turf at Manchester’s Heaton Park.

You may have thought you missed your chance to catch the Gallagher brothers back on stage. But don’t look back in anger, as their touring days might not be done just yet.

Yesterday the Gallaghers lit up the skies in Manchester after launching an impressive drone show that teased an official announcement that was happening next Monday afternoon.

During the event, the drones formed the Oasis logo before spelling out ‘4PM BST’, and then the date ‘14.09.26’.

So what’s happening? Are the Gallaghers definitely maybe getting back together for a 2027 tour?

Where are Oasis rumoured to play in 2027?

According to The Sun, Oasis will play 23 UK gigs starting in May next year, and they’re going to kick off things off with five nights at Glasgow’s Celtic Park.

After dazzling the Scots, the boys will head down south to their hometown Manchester, where they’ll light up the Etihad (well, it was never going to be Old Trafford, was it?) for ‘at least ten nights’ in June.

Following that, it’s off to Europe in July with concerts expected to take place at Paris’s Stade de France, Munich’s Allianz Arena, Milan’s San Siro and Rome’s Stadio.

In August, the band will then play Slane Castle in Ireland, although the exact number of shows is currently being negotiated.

Finally, the tour will come to an end with six nights at Knebworth which holds a special place in the hearts of Oasis fans.

A source previously told The Sun added: ‘Knebworth is a special place for Noel and Liam.

‘The shows in 1996 broke records as 2.6million people applied for tickets. It was the largest demand for tickets in British music history. They broke that with Oasis Live ’25.

‘Now they’re going to become the only act to have played Knebworth six times.’

The brothers reunited last year following the band splitting up in 2009 amid reports of a fraught relationship between Noel and Liam.

Putting their long-running feud aside to reform the band for the Oasis Live ’25 tour has been a resounding success, and apparently it’s always been the plan to do more.

A source told The Sun: ‘Noel and Liam always planned for the tour to have a second run.

‘There were discussions about announcing [it] during the World Cup because of the connection between Wonderwall and the Three Lions in this tournament.’

Sadly, the new tour means that the rumours that Oasis are one of the headline acts at Glastonbury 2027 are likely false, as the dates would clash with the Etihad gigs.

When could tickets go on sale?

Oasis are expected to make a major announcement on Monday next week at 4 pm, so it’s technically possible tickets could be on sale from then.

However, Metro’s ticket-buying expert thinks it’s more likely that Noel and Liam will give fans a bit of breathing room between the announcement and sale.

That said, nothing’s been confirmed, so those keen not to miss out on these tour dates are going to want to keep a close eye on Oasis’ social pages – and Ticketmaster – as whatever happens, we don’t have long to wait.

While The Sun doesn’t have an exact date tickets will go on sale, they seem confident they’ll be on sale in ‘the next few weeks’.

And if the chaos around the Oasis ’25 ticket release is anything to go by, the demand for these new Oasis gigs is almost guaranteed to cause another [Champagne] supernova of ticket purchase activity.

Many fans were faced with queues of over 500,000 other people when trying to claim spots at the numerous locations of the anticipated tour.

A wave of scams and extortionate resale prices followed quickly in the wake of the ticket release, which even forced the Prime Minister to get involved, with Keir Starmer saying it’s ‘not fair’ after fans realised the eye-watering price of resale tickets.

Thankfully Oasis will not be using dynamic pricing this time around, and Ticketmaster is reportedly drafting in extra staff to cope with demand.

Time will tell whether we’ll see similar scenes of demand and frustration as and when the new dates are officially announced – but it would be a safe bet to assume Oasis ’27 will be just as Supersonic as ’25.
