A reliable leaker believes Persona 6 will be announced at the Xbox Games Showcase, as rumours circulate around Persona 4 Revival.
After being the subject of rumours for years, developer Atlus might finally be gearing up to announce Persona 6.
It’s been 10 years since Persona 5 launched, and since then we’ve had spin-offs, remakes of previous titles, and the expanded Persona 5 Royal, with only vague rumours of an inevitable sequel.
After some alleged screenshots surfaced last month, a reliable leaker has now made the bold proclamation that the highly anticipated sequel will be revealed later this week.
This comes from insider NateTheHate, who has an excellent track record when it comes to Nintendo leaks. Now, however, in his latest podcast, he made a peculiarly worded mention of Persona 6 making an appearance at the Xbox Games Showcase on Sunday.
The episode itself covers their predictions for the Xbox Games Showcase, but in the case of Persona 6, NateTheHate seemed to be more definitive.

‘I’m confident enough to say Persona 6 will be there,’ he states. ‘I don’t think there’s any way that Persona 6 will not be at this showcase. Now is the time.’
While he doesn’t explicitly state that this is based on insider information, it certainly sounds like it’s coming from some place of authority.
Better still, known Sega leaker lolilolailo has corroborated NateTheHate’s comments on ResetEra, writing: ‘Nate knows what he’s talking about.’ And yet, while it sounds promising, it’s perhaps best to take it with a pinch of salt for now.
Elsewhere, a Chinese leaker may have outed the release date for Persona 4 Revival. Based on a cryptic Reddit post, showing a stack of TVs with a calendar in the background, fans believe the image is teasing that the remake will launch in February 2027.
Persona 4 Revival was recently rated by the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) and listed on the Xbox Store, and while it’s unclear if it will show up at the Xbox Games Showcase, it certainly feels like an update is imminent.
The Xbox Games Showcase will take place on Sunday, June 7 at 6pm BST. It’ll be followed by a presentation dedicated to Gears Of War: E-Day, but other games expected to appear include Halo: Campaign Evolved, Fable, and Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 4.
