The 69-year-old comedian shared the update in a video posted to Instagram on Wednesday, April 29, revealing that heâs ready to return to stand-up, even as he continues his recovery journey.

âI canât walk. Since the stroke in 2020, I have not been on stage. Iâm gonna get my feet wet April 29 and May 10 at the Comedy Ice House in Pasadena, California. Itâs just the beginning of me coming back,â he said. âIâm so looking forward to these shows. I got so much stuff to talk about. Iâm gonna be talking more trash than I ever talked.â
The performances will take place at the iconic Ice House Comedy Club, signaling a meaningful first step back into live comedy for the beloved entertainer.
In a touching twist, Sinbad also revealed that his daughter, Paige, will be opening for himâmarking the first time the two will perform together professionally.
âIâm looking forward to this because she talks more trash than I talk,â he joked.
