Cruz Beckham made sure to give Spice Girls fans everywhere what they want – and what they really, really want – by sharing a brilliant clip of all five members singing Mama.

Melanie C, Mel B, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell-Horner reunited with Victoria Beckham as she celebrated her 50th birthday last month with a lavish party.

Family, friends such as Tom Cruise (who truly embraced the mood) and Eva Longoria, and the Spices all descended on private members club Oswald’s for the event – thought to have cost a cool £250,000.

We’d already seen the incredible pic of Victoria getting a piggyback from her loving husband David, 49, at 3am as they left, as well as the girl group’s singalong (with correct choreography, of course) to hit single Stop.

However, it turns out that wasn’t their only performance of the night, with Victoria’s youngest son Cruz, 19, managing to coax them into an acoustic live version of the tear-jerking ballad Mama.

Playing them in confidently, the fivesome swayed in front of the microphone with their arms around one another as they sang along to the chorus.

As they paused, Mel B then joked: ‘Are we in tune? I’m not sure we are.’

The crowd in the room responded with whoops and cheers as Victoria then instigated a big group hug.

‘You’re welcome…,’ Cruz – who has musical aspirations himself – wrote in the caption of the video as he shared it to Instagram on Wednesday night, knowing it would delight fans.

‘OMG Cruz! Thank you for making this happen and then sharing it! 🤩 They are so special 😭’ wrote superfan @danispiceboy in the comments.

‘Cruz just broke the Internet,’ joked Karen Lawson, which shot right up to the top of the section with nearly 1,000 likes.

‘Cruz you’ve made the @spicegirls fan community VERY VERY happy!😍,’ added a grateful Kevin Wyllie, while Melanie Dawn enthused: ‘Youngest kid to play with the classic Spice Girls! And it’s one of the girls sons! I can’t. This is clearly life in full circle!!!😍🔥’

‘And great that you’re playing the chords for “Mama” on the guitar… for your mom’s birthday <3,’ pointed out Angie Hung.

‘@cruzbeckham my fav spice son. Gracias!❤️,’ posted David Carrillo.

Obviously, there were fans everywhere begging for an official Spice Girls reunion again, a persistent and hopeful wish given the Glastonbury rumours that regularly surface.

Following the initial singalong footage, it appears that this reunion could be more likely than ever now with bookmakers putting a Spice Girls reunion at Glasto in 2025 at just 2/1 last month, with Victoria’s birthday celebrations the main driver behind those short odds.

They last all performed together in 2012, but rumours persist that they might reunite once more as a quintet (Picture: PA)

After Geri left the chart-topping band in 1998, the five reunited in 2007 after the release of their greatest hits but new single Headlines failed to make the UK top 10.

It was another five years before the quintet lined up again, this time for the 2012 Olympics in London.

Emma Bunton, Mel B, Melanie C, and Geri have all been performing as the Spice Girls since 2018, but Victoria has yet to rejoin them on stage.
