Days ago, Katie Price’s Instagram account went the way of her new husband, Lee Andrews, and unexpectedly vanished from our lives.
She had been active posting and commenting before the social media page was taken down, leaving only an account status error message in its wake.
It came after Katie, 48, finally made contact with Lee, who she said had phoned her from prison to claim he was arrested on suspicion of espionage.
Lee, who is in his 40s, had been missing for weeks after failing to join his wife on the Good Morning Britain sofa for a joint interview.
Katie’s Instagram became where she kept us updated on her efforts to find him, along with her podcast for which the profile remained live.
Then it vanished, apparently due to parent company Meta investigating because she ‘flashed some boob’ and was promoting CBD gummies.
‘It is all slightly ludicrous: you don’t follow Katie Price for home decor inspo or cake baking,’ a source told The Sun.
They continued: ‘The spotlight is on her like never before at the moment, so miserable keyboard warriors with nothing better to do write in to complain about her content.’
Katie posts regularly about her CBD oil and gummies, with a brand deal in place, even sharing a video about them while Lee was missing.
‘I don’t think anyone can really complain about a hint of boob when things like OnlyFans are in existence,’ the source added.

They assured fans that the former glamour model’s account should be back up soon – even in the next 24 hours – after Meta wraps up their investigation.
‘It was a lot of fuss about nothing and just quite annoying, really,’ the source concluded.
Katie has been radio silent since her account went down, having just revealed she spoke to Lee on the phone, finally, after he told her he was tied up in a van.
She claimed his dad put the star-crossed lovers in touch, and they had a two-minute phone call, with Lee at Dubai’s Al Awir jail.
‘I have found him. He is alive, and he is OK. I told him how worried I had been and told him I loved him,’ the TV personality confirmed.
‘It was very rushed but he said the authorities out there thought he was a spy.’
Question marks and conspiracies around Lee have persisted ever since Katie revealed the whirlwind Dubai romance in January.
He’s been accused of ‘scamming’ the I’m A Celeb icon for their entire relationship, as well as facing more serious abuse allegations from his ex-girlfriend.
Even with her family apparently not being too pleased and Katie’s repeated declarations that she’s ‘not stupid’, she is standing by her man so far.
