Two people and a dog were found fatally shot inside a home in far south suburban Harvey early Thursday, authorities said.
Harvey police officers were called to the home around 7:30 a.m. near 150th Street and Vine Avenue, Harvey’s Police Chief Dale Mitchell said in a statement.
Officers found the two people with gunshot wounds, according to the statement. They were pronounced dead at the scene. Two dogs were also shot. One has died and the other was in critical condition.
No other detail about incident or victims was shared. Harvey police were investigating with support from Illinois State Police, according to the statement.
